Hey guys! So, I’m excited to share this awesome news with you! This is the beginning of my new “House To Home Series”!!! My husband and I decided to stay in the Middle Tennessee Area and purchase our first house. Our house buying process was fairly simple and easy until the week before our closing day. This was one of those situations, where you can’t do anything but get on your knees and pray! And pray hard, because there was nothing else we could do. And like always, God stepped in right on time and blessed us with our house.
We had lived in the same apartment for seven years. Do you believe that? Seven years!!! Oh, and did I mention, it was a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment?!? So, the day we closed on our house, we were having furniture delivered and started renovations right away. We’ve been working on our house non-stop to make it our home. I’m so glad to bring you on this journey with us of turning this house into our lovely home through photos and videos!!!
FRONT OF THE HOUSE
It’s hard to see the potential in the house, but its definitely there.

LIVING ROOM (NEW SECTIONAL, WE BOUGHT IT ASAP)
Please don’t get used to seeing the wall between the living room and kitchen because, it is coming down.
Of course we will be doing a complete reno on the kitchen. Here’s a little secret, we already purchased the new flooring and cabinets.
Those cabinets and refrigerator spot will be pushed back, so we can have room for our island.
HALLWAY BATHROOM (ORIGINAL TUB 1986)
This tub and shower insert has to go!
MICAH’S ROOM (YOU CAN SEE IT BETTER IN THE VIDEO)
This room will be a mix between my craft room, office, the guest bedroom, and a hangout spot for our teenage nieces and nephews.
This ceiling fan is screaming take me down now and the walls are screaming paint us, please!
MASTER BATHROOM (ORIGINAL TUB & WE WILL BE EXPANDING)
Of course you know this tub and shower insert has to be removed as well. We’re thinking of a walk-in shower instead. And also expand this bathroom and our closet.
LAUNDRY ROOM (BEHIND THE KITCHEN)
We want to move the laundry room to the other part of the house.
We are currently working out of this space which is housing our kitchen cabinets, flooring, and tools. So, it this room is last on our list but, it will be an entertainment room for sure!
This is where we plan on moving our laundry room.
